UCLA football holds Zoom meeting to clear air prior to return to campus

UCLA football team had a Zoom call Friday to address issues related to a story in the Los Angeles Times about demands regarding their health as the Bruins prepare for their return to campus in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. The meeting lasted about 30 minutes and was very productive, players involved in the call told The Athletic.

“The concerns raised by the student-athletes who put that out that document were already being addressed or were in the process of being addressed by the athletic department,” quarterback Chase Griffin told The Athletic. Griffin is one of those athletes and the lone football player on UCLA’s Return to Training Task Force.
