SpaceX craft close call with UFO after launching into orbit

The SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule Endeavor, carrying four astronauts, approaches the International Space Station orbiting the Earth April 24, 2021.

SpaceX’s Crew Dragon Endeavor spacecraft had a close call with an unidentified object before successfully reaching the International Space Station, a report said.

US Space Command warned the crew aboard the spacecraft of a possible collision with an unknown object after launching into orbit on Friday, Futurism reported.

“The possibility of the conjunction came so close to the closest approach time that there wasn’t time to compute and execute a debris avoidance maneuver with confidence, so the SpaceX team elected to have the crew don their pressure suits out of an abundance of caution,” NASA spokesperson Kelly Humphries told Futurism.

At its closest point, the object passed about 28 miles away from the spacecraft, the report said.

Ultimately, “there was no real danger to the crew or the spacecraft,” Humphries told the outlet.

Crew Dragon Endeavour made it to the International Space Station on Saturday.

Church pastor turned OnlyFans stripper says its made her better mom

A former church pastor turned OnlyFans stripper says reflecting on her “toxic church” upbringing, her new career in sex work has actually made her a better mom to her kids.

OnlyFans stripper and former church pastor Nikole Mitchell spoke on a new podcast about her parenting, her childhood, and how it intersects with her oft-raunchy modeling career, according to The Daily Star.

Mitchell says her new job enables her to talk more openly with her kids about issues like sex and relationships, which she felt she was unable to do with her family growing up.

“[We have] All kinds of conversations and equipping them with tools that I was never equipped with as a kid growing up,” she told the Holly Randall Unfiltered podcast.

Nikole Mitchell grew up in a baptist family in Ohio, US, and became even more religious in her 20s – spending six years not even kissing a man as “Jesus was my boyfriend”.

Pastor turned stripper says sex work has made her a better mum than church upbringing

“It is now so important to me now as a mum to teach my kids these things so they have these skills for a life time, for dating, relationships, for their working environment for who they become, whatever they end up doing these are life skills everyone needs,” the church pastor turned OnlyFans stripper said.

Ultimately, she says her current career has enabled her to leave her “toxic” church upbringing and mindset behind.

“Now I am where I am, I feel that not only my sense of sexuality but the sex work I do is so much healthier than this sex mindset that I grew up with in the church,” Mitchell said.

“So I think that the most toxicity you can have about sexuality, sex, bodies, can come from the kind of church that I came from and I remember looking at the big picture and thinking I’m giving my kids a much better gift.”

“I became deeply, deeply focused on God. I stopped dating men entirely. While I had slept with guys in high school, it was terrible, teenage sex where we didn’t know what we were doing, I decided to stop seeing anyone during my time at university.”

Pastor-turned-OnlyFans stripper says ‘her dreams have come true’ in emotional end of year Instagram post

The church pastor turned OnlyFans stripper took to Instagram late last year to count her blessings and give thanks for her newfound passion.

She opened up in an emotional post to her near 119,000 followers, marveling at her being sought as a life coach and new media opportunities.

“I just wrapped up another TV segment on Fox26 and I’m in AWE of all the dreams that have come true this year,” she enthused. “Going viral. Being interviewed around the world. Being sought out as a life coach expert on TV. Filming my first lead in a film.”

The Mirror reported that although Mitchell has acknowledged she may have lost friends and loved ones on her new career path, she says “I have to decide what i am called to do and trust that calling.”

“A lot of people have come around to supporting me, and I have lost a lot of people along the way.”

Court upholds life sentence for man convicted of marijuana possession

A Mississippi man will continue to serve a life sentence for a pot bust after a court upheld the lengthy term.

Allen Russell’s life sentence was upheld by a state appeals court Tuesday due to his “habitual offender” status from past run-ins with the law.

State law allows for a life sentence without parole if a person has spent a year in prison on two separate felonies, one of which must be a violent offense, according to the Associated Press/Report for America.

Police confiscated five bags from Russell when he was arrested in 2017, and confirmed that two of the bags contained 1.5 ounces of marijuana.

Under state law, possession of between 1.05 and 8.8 ounces of marijuana carries a sentence of up to three years, a $3,000 fine, or both, the AP said

Russell did more than eight years in prison on two home burglary charges and spent another two years in the clink after a conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm, according to the Mississippi Court of Appeals ruling.

Several judges on the court dissented with the majority opinion.

Woman hoarding gas flees police, catches on fire after crash

A woman who was hoarding gasoline tried to flee police in a stolen car and crashed into a fiery wreck in South Carolina.

A Pickens County Sheriff’s deputy tried to pull over a 2007 Pontiac G6 Thursday evening after he ran the plates and found it was stolen, officials said.

The driver, Jessica Dale Patterson, 28, tried to outrun the pursuing deputy, but lost control of the car and flipped it over on the side of the road, according to a press release.

“The vehicle immediately caught fire, and multiple explosions were heard inside the vehicle,” officials wrote.

Patterson emerged from the car on fire herself, and the deputy pushed her to the ground to extinguish the flames.

The suspect told authorities she was “hoarding” several containers of fuel in the trunk, which were responsible for the fire.

There was no immediate word on the Patterson’s condition or charges against her.

The incident comes two days after the White House pleaded with Americans not to hoard gas amid the ransomware attack against the Colonial Pipeline.

The Southeast was hit hardest by the fuel shortage. By Thursday morning, fuel was once again flowing to the region.
