Johnson & Johnson in talks with governments on possible COVID-19 vaccine

LONDON, June 18 (Reuters) – Johnson & Johnson is in talks with a number of governments and international organisations because it seeks to develop a COVID-19 vaccine, it stated on Thursday after Reuters reported that the U.S. firm is in talks over a possible EU provide deal.

“We’re dedicated to creating our COVID-19 vaccine accessible globally to populations at best danger and the place it might present the best good based on our vaccine’s profile,” a Johnson & Johnson spokesman stated in an electronic mail.

“As a part of that, we’re in ongoing discussions with many stakeholders, together with nationwide governments and international organisations.” (Reporting by Josephine Mason Enhancing by David Goodman )
