Celebrities are paying tribute to Oluwatoyin Salau, a 19-year-old protester who was discovered useless Saturday night time.

She continued, “I am unable to shake it. I’m her and she or he is me. I’m alive to speak about surviving my rape at 19. She just isn’t.. The work continues. The struggle continues. The reckoning will proceed. Toyin needs to be right here. She was 19. A child. Maintain our infants tight. Love them. Defend them. Assist them.”

Kerry Washington shared a photograph of Salau on Twitter.

“That is heartbreaking. Toyin, I’m praying for you. I’m praying for your loved ones. I’ll proceed to say your identify and convey,” Washington wrote with the hashtags #JusticeForToyin and #SayHerName.

Widespread additionally shared the hashtag #JusticeForToyin in a Twitter post.

“She spent the final days of her life preventing for justice for her individuals. It should not be misplaced on us that Black Girls have been on the forefront of those Actions,” he continued. “We now have to face up towards violence occurring to our Black Girls and Women. God Bless her soul.”
